more flip flops for big and small girls

I made these for my friend and her daughter.
and she asked me to make another pair:)

I made these with recycled denims, the soles are over 20 layers of cotton stitched together, lovely, are not they?

I just finished these.
they are a nice, light and comfortable pair of flippers.
over 20 layers of recycled cotton fabrics were stitched together by my powerful juki.
they are completely machine washable, dryer dry-able, durable, and green.

Vancouver's spring

this is the tree in "our" little park.



we went to the burnaby lake this weekend; the spring was there.
it made me think about the feelings I had when the spring filled the air when I was little, I did not notice the change of the seasons, I felt happy, excited, I saw myself smiling; because of the melting snow, sluggish street, the smell.
I often goes back...seldom look into the future, this is me.




It is a turtle....I was loading a duck's photo though, it is enjoying the sun.
it is a nice thing that it can hold still for such a long time..meditating.

Wow...I did not forget how to use a computer

so happy I can put things straight before breakfast. my son was so gentle this morning as usual. he will become a bit aggressive I think later today:)
